Isaiah 55 NKJV

55 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts,

Come to the waters;

And you who have no money,

Come, buy and eat.

Yes, come, buy wine and milk

Without money and without price.

2 …let your soul delight itself in abundance.

3 Incline your ear, and come to Me.

Hear, and your soul shall live;

10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,

And do not return there,

But water the earth,

And make it bring forth and bud,

That it may give seed to the sower

And bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12 “For you shall go out with joy,

And be led out with peace;

The mountains and the hills

Shall break forth into singing before you,

And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

I don’t want you to misunderstand this. 4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. 5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. 7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 8 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice[b]; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.[c] 9 The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. 11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. 27 All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Link to share this: https://pleasantviewer.org/443/
Marilyn
https://pleasantviewer.org/author/marilyn/
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/cc60f889061228d9c665a693d3131435ba49639be5576c169b7e06797312aa90?s=512&d=mm&r=g"
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/cc60f889061228d9c665a693d3131435ba49639be5576c169b7e06797312aa90?s=512&d=mm&r=g"
Sunday Readings" ]
https://pleasantviewer.org/441/
https://pleasantviewer.org/441/
Scriptural Selection for Bible Lesson “Love”, 2/2/14 J.B. 1 Cor.13 1,3 If I speak with the eloquence of men and of angels, but have no love, I become no more than blaring brass or crashing cymbal… If I dispose of all that I possess, yes, even if I give my own body to be burned, but have no love, I achieve precisely nothing. 5-6 Love has good manners and does not pursue selfish advantage. It is not touchy. It does not keep account of evil or gloat over the wickedness of other people. On the contrary, it is glad with all good men when truth prevails.7-8a Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. Love never fails. 12 At present we are men looking at puzzling reflections in a mirror. The time will come when we shall see reality whole and face to face! At present all I know is a little fraction of the truth, but the time will come when I shall know it as fully as God now knows me! 13 In this life we have three great lasting qualities—faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love.
